Each R U Precious exclusively unique piece is made in a completely free form fashion.

There is no knowing how the piece is going to come out when at the beginning of the process.

A bit like an artist’s painting, the garment/fabric painting takes a life of its own.

All garments within the R U Precious range are available one off, and Ratna also makes some commissioned made to measure pieces.

One off pieces, involve a free-form flow of inspiration, and depending on what type of garment it is, the techniques and effects vary.

Within the techniques R U Precious employs, there are many different ways garments are made to be one off.

Either through appliqué, draping, patching, or simply with special combination of fabrics. (See techniques and effects for a more information).
