While studying illustration design at university, Ratna found a love for fashion.
By altering, enhancing and embellishing existing op-shop garments with flair and style, she realized she wanted to focus on developing her own label and style.
R U Precious was first sold at the Nelson Market. And the stall, though completely transformed is still going strong today, after 4 and a half years.
